tauschfühlung was found in 2011 in Upper Austria and switched to work mainly from Vienna in 2016. It is a multidisciplinary initiative which produces contemporary dance and electronic music, working with a changing ensemble / for theatre, cultural events, movies, musicvideos, concerts, public space. Found by dancer, choreographer, interdisciplinary artist Bianca Anne Braunesberger and musician, engineer Stefan Zotter. Braunesberger: “ For me Art is always an exchange, either with ourselves and subconcious sensations that accumulate and wish for a channel to be made visible sensable for the world around us or/and through subtle or pragmatic relationships with the external world, society and other artists – so art never comes out of nowhere, there is always a trigger. This is why I decided to produce work under the name of tauschfühlung – so the creative outputs become more of a collective character than an individual note.“ Their creations are shown e.g. in Gallus Theater Frankfurt, Freies Theater Innsbruck, Biennale Venedig, Lentos Kunstmuseum Linz, Warsaw Dance Theatre, Taggerwerk Graz, Body Painting Festival Klagenfurt, Musiktheater Linz, Tanztage Ludwigsburg, Planet Flow Berlin. Organizing Artist in Residence programmes in Upper Austria to support the cultural scene outside of big cities.
Bianca Anne Braunesberger was born in Upper Austria. She studied Choreography and Anatomy at Tanztheater Helix Linz, Contemporary Dance, Classical & Contemporary Dance and Dance Pedagogics at Iwanson International School of Contemporary Dance Munich. After her dance studies she worked as a dance artist with Jyri Kylian, Romeo Castellucci, at Bavarian States Opera, Nationaltheatre Prague, Static Man Portugal and more. Working as a dancer, choreographer and costume designer for movies, theatre and site – specific projects. Founder of Cie.tauschfühlung 2011, Choreographer, Management & Artistic Director for dance & musicproductions since that date. Engaging the community in artistic processes as a main source of inspiration and expression. Scholarship 2020 by the city of Vienna for the movie production “SOSEIN”. Teaching Dance and Bodywork for professional dancers, interested teenagers and adults in renown institutions such as Burgtheater Wien, Festspielhaus St Pölten, Dock 11 Berlin, Tanzfabrik Linz, Anton Bruckner Privatuniversität Linz. Founder of MO(ve)MENTS of PEACE to support regeneration of dancers&athletes. Founder/Curator of PERFORMING PUZZLE – annually happening platform for contemporary dance in short pieces Vienna. Co- Artistic Director „TANZ im OFF“. Currently choreographic researcher at Codarts Rotterdam & Fontys University of Performing & Fine Arts, Netherlands.
Stefan Zotter was born in Upper Austria. He studied Mechatronics at Johannes Kepler University Linz and did his Master in „digital signal processing“ at the Institute for Measurment Technology. Currently he is employed at IMS nanofabrication in Vienna, in the research and development department for electro/mechanical devices. Since his early years he is interested in designing and building synthesizers and effect devices for musical purpose. He is one half of the electronic music duo „QUOD“ and part of a rap-electro-noise fusion band called „dysfunktional message control“ as soundartist and vocalist. knoz /Zoo are his synonymes as soloartist, rapper & producer.
